Year after year and summer after summer, and now there are thirteen, the Parking Shakespeare theater company presents us with a new Shakespeare play in the shade of the trees of the Parc de la Estació del Nord. This year they will offer us a new version of "Much Ado About Nothing", adapted by the actor, director and playwright Jaume Viñas.
"Much Ado About Nothing" is a romantic comedy that explores deception, identity and love. Set in Messina, Sicily, the plot follows the complicated relationships between two couples: Claudio and Hero, and Benedick and Beatrice. While Claudio and Hero face a deception that jeopardizes their wedding, Benedick and Beatrice, known for their witty verbal exchanges, end up falling in love. The work stands out for its humor and its keen observation of human nature, culminating in a happy ending for both romances.
