Classical music cycle at Paral·lel

From March 10 to May 18, Barcelona' s Teatre Apolo will host the Ciclo de música clásica en el Paral-lel, consolidating the city as a benchmark for classical music with a diverse program at very affordable prices. The event will feature six concerts that combine innovation and tradition, with young talent. Highlights include the participation of Fernando Álvarez, internationally renowned conductor, and the collaboration with emblematic ensembles such as Cobla Montgrins and the Camerata Internacional de Barcelona. In addition, the series will include family concerts designed to bring classical music closer to children through didactic and interactive experiences.

• 10 March 20:00h - Entre Fronteras, Ibero-American Composers - LA 432 New Orchestra, conducted by Fernando Álvarez. World premieres of works by Piazzolla, Rovira, Gardel, Binelli, among others.
• 8 April 20:00h - 140 years of music - Concert by Carlos Bianchini with Cobla Montgrins, one of the oldest ensembles in Catalonia.
• 5 May 20:00h - Vivaldi's Four Seasons - Performance by the Camerata Internacional de Barcelona, led by concertmaster José David Fuenmayor.
• May 4 12:00h - The Colors of Music Piano Recital - Interactive concert by Carlos Bianchini exploring the relationship between music and emotion.
• 11 May 12:00h - String Quartet "Musical Moments" - A journey from baroque to contemporary music with an accessible approach for children.
• 18 May 12:00h - Wind Quintet "Peter and the Wolf" - Adaptation of Prokofiev's work with narration by Núria Serra.
