Unique opportunity to listen this British ensemble. the group comes to Barcelona with two different instrumental ensembles: the Chamber Orchestra conducted by Joshua Ridley, and the Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Alex Mackinder. The will play the Clarinet concerto in A, K622 by W. A. Mozart, the Enchanted Lake by A. Lyadov, and the Sypmhony b. 5 in d, op. 47 by D. Shostakovich. Durham University Orchestral Society, the University’s leading orchestral society, is comprised of Durham University Symphony Orchestra and Durham University Chamber Orchestra. DUOS prides itself on being entirely student run, and covers a large array of demanding orchestral repertoire throughout the academic year. DUOS is also the longest running orchestral society in Durham, having celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2015.
