The Children's Festival has been held in Barcelona since 1963, although in recent years it has had other names and a somewhat different philosophy. Last year, however, it regained its essence and brought us many novelties. At the Children's Festival, children from 0 to 12 years of age enjoy games and workshops, practice sports, get close to the world of art, culture and technology, and learn about the value of solidarity.
About the 2023 edition of the Children's Festival
In this edition, the great novelty is the mini space, dedicated exclusively to early childhood. This space will become the meeting point for babies and children up to 4 years old, offering games specifically adapted to their needs. A highlight among the attractions is "El Jardín de los Pequeños", a playroom carefully designed so that the little ones can enjoy play and learning spaces designed especially for them.
In this year's Children's Festival you will find activities for all ages, the recently mentioned space for early childhood, a stage with performances aimed at children and another one aimed at young audiences.
Mini Space
The Mini Space presents El Jardín de los Pequeños, a special toy library for children from 0 to 4 years old, focused on heuristic and symbolic play, memory and psychomotor skills. It also highlights La Madriguera de los Sentidos, a space with wooden nests and sensory experiences. " Sensational" offers a unique visual and sound experience. The "Breastfeeding Space" provides comfort for feeding babies. In addition, there are activities such as Climb and Drive a Vintage Car and services such as Stroller Parking for added enjoyment and convenience for families.
The activities
The event offers a wide variety of activities designed to capture the imagination and interest of participants of all ages. From creative opportunities such as Paint with Casa Tarradellas, where attendees are invited to express their creativity on easels, to relaxing sensory experiences in the Calm Space, where they can enjoy a tranquil environment with sensory elements and painting materials. Among the most exciting activities is Car crashes!, a fun combination of vehicles powered by the participants' own strength, promoting sustainability and entertainment. Children are also invited to explore the construction of the towers of the Sagrada Familia in Estamos construyendo las torres, ¿nos ayudas? (We are building the towers, can you help us?), where they can build three-dimensional structures. For technology lovers, Experiences feel the technology offers the opportunity to create avatars and live immersive experiences, such as a virtual tasting of chocolates guided by the Roca brothers. With these and many other activities, the event is presented as a diverse space that combines creativity, learning and fun.
The children's stage

Màquina de fer diners
Poques activitats Infradimensionat i mal organitzat. Molt pobre per ser Barcelona. Sort que diuen que recuperen l' esperit original. Encara recordo el que era quan hi vaig anar de petit, i no era això. Presa de pèl.
