The indie-folk festival Folk Me Hard pretends to show that folk is not a closed style and is nourished by several musical sources. This new edition, the fifth, is closer than ever to the sounds of American folk and discovers artists from New Zealand, USA and a brilliant local promise. Saturday night will start with the performance of Marta Knight, a young alternative folk singer from the Barcelona independent scene. Afterwards, the New Zealand duo Great North will offer us delicate melodies in which the voices of Hayden and Rachel Donnell intertwine creating purely folk songs with clear influences from Dylan or the most intimate Springsteen. Finally we will see the performance of Max Garcia Conover, singer-songwriter from Maine (USA) who in 2017 published "Motorhome", an album whose songs were written during his travels in the US and Europe, roadside songs created from the idea to write a song a week for a year. Max returns to Spain in a small format, acting alone with voice, guitar and drums.
