The genius of Tchaikovsky and the strength of Beethoven come together on the same stage with The Great Christmas Concert at the Palau de la Música. The first part of the program will transport you to the world of childhood, magic and fantasy with Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, the Christmas ballet par excellence. In this concert version, which was premiered and became famous before the ballet itself, you will enjoy the romantic Waltz of the Flowers, the vigorous Russian dance and the original sound of the celesta that gives voice to the Sugar Plum Fairy. The concert program continues with Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, a score that symbolizes the greatness of music and its creator: an agitated, intense and sentimental genius.
