IRB Barcelona periodically organizes scientific communication and dissemination initiatives, with the aim of making current research in biomedicine and the disciplines of life sciences known to the general public. These open days, which are free, are part of this objective. Public participation activities not only show the cutting edge research, but also offer a glimpse into the fascinating microscopic world and the foundations of life, which we try to understand and apply to improve our health and quality of life.
