Academic career
Pablo Díez Teresa was born in Alcobendas in 1993 and at the age of 8 he began his musical training with piano teacher Pilar López at the Municipal School of Music of Alcobendas. Six years later he entered the Arturo Soria Professional Conservatory (Madrid) to study piano with Professor Alicia Pulido, and chamber music with J. M. Cruzado: he finished his professional degree with honors. In the HKU-Utrechts Conservatorium (Holland) he completed his higher education with the Hungarian pianist Klara Würtz, and won the “Emir-Steyenberg Prijs” prize as the best piano student of his promotion. In his extra-academic training, note that he has received advice from pianists such as Daniel del Pino, Miguel AO Chavaldas, Ángel Sanzo, Andrei Gavrilov, Eric T. Tawaststjerna, Yuri Ananiev, Rita Wagner, Sebastián Colombo, Enrico Pace, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Ingrid Fliter, Konrad Elser, among others.
Performances
Both as a soloist and in chamber music, Pablo has performed on numerous stages in Spain, Italy, Holland, Germany and Japan. In 2014 he was selected by the Utrecht Conservatory for an exchange project with “Showa University of Music” in Tokyo (Japan). He has had the opportunity to receive master classes from Fumiko Eguchi and to perform in the concert hall of “Showa University of Music” and at the Dutch embassy in Tokyo. In 2016 he was invited to the “Must Talent Festival” offering a recital at the Ateneo de Madrid.
The present
She is currently pursuing her postgraduate studies at the Musikhochschule Leopold-Mozart-Zentrum in Augsburg (Germany) with teacher Cristina Marton-Argerich. Pablo is awarded a scholarship by the Yenuhi Menudin Foundation "Live Musik Now", an entity that provides concerts in the region of Bavaria. Since 2019, Pablo is a piano teacher at the Musikschule Gersthofen.
