After passing through cities such as Rome, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Naples, New York, London and Atlanta, the Balloon Museum's traveling art arrives in Barcelona with the exhibition "Pop Air" at the Victoria Eugenia Palace. This dynamic and interactive exhibition explores inflatable art through 17 creations where "air" is the distinctive element.
The installation provides a sensory immersion, inviting the viewer to interact with unexpected forms and moving works that can be touched and felt. "Pop Air" reflects on new artistic expressions associated with roaming, presenting contemporary works selected by a curatorial team specialized in art, culture and communication.
This is the first exhibition dedicated to inflatable art, featuring large installations, inflatable sculptures and interactive works, focused on exploring all aspects of air. Each of the 17 works, thanks to its interaction with the viewer, creates new spaces for physical, digital and cultural socialization. Participating artists include Karina Smigla-Bobinski, Lindsay Glatz & Curious Form, Hyperstudio, Plastique Fantastique, Cyril Lancelin, Motorefisico, Pepper's Ghost, Jimmy Kuehnle, Pneuhaus & Bike Powered Events, Rub Kandy, Filthy Luker, Eness, Ultravioletto, Quiet Ensemble and Max Streicher.
