Renoir exhibition with works from the collections of museums d'Orsay and l'Orangerie, who have collaborated in its organization. This exhibition with more than 60 works is an exceptional tour of the artist's career. Renoir showed in his painting the different facets of women: from modern Parisian dancing Moulin de la Galette (1876) to the primitive nymphs protagonists of The Bathers (1918-1919). The exhibition presents the evolution of the feminine ideal in Renoir's work and also raises the contrast with the work of his contemporaries and the new modern generation, so also works by artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Maurice Denis, Edgar Degas, Pierre Bonnard and Pablo Picasso are exhibited.
Free admission on Mondays from 14:00h - 20:00h
