Casa Batlló once again creates an artistic installation that has become an icon and symbol of the Sant Jordi Day since 2016. It is a blanket of roses that covers the balconies of the house and represents the legend encrypted in its architecture. The installation is very impressive and attractive, which has led to traffic being cut on Paseo de Gracia on several occasions due to the large number of onlookers who come to see it and take photos.
To honor the Legend of Sant Jordi, Casa Batlló has created an auca, a pictorial story with rhymes, in collaboration with Joan Grau i Martí as writer and Eduard Altarriba i Bigas as cartoonist. On April 23, they will give you the auca while supplies last, if you make a purchase in the Casa Batlló store, which is free of charge.
