In 1903, Santiago Rusiñol created the album "Jardines de España" (gardens of Spain), a collection of 40 engravings of his paintings including poems by authors such as M. Machado, E. Marquina, J. Alcover, R. Perez de Ayala, Juan R. Jimenez, J Maragall, among others. The Gardens of Spain are the gardens of the soul of the artist, his more personal and more aesthetic creations. With this exhibition is recovered the work that was the starting point of the artistic recognition of the artist. The collection consists of seventy of his best works, now scattered and which meet for the first time in the Museum of Modernism in Barcelona. The exhibition is curated by the expert Mercedes Palau-Ribes and has the support of Francesc Fontbona and Josep C. Laplana.
The entrance fee includes access to the other rooms of the Museum.
