A reference of the son in Barcelona
Son de la Rambla are a reference in Barcelona of the groups that bring us the sounds of the distant Caribbean island. In 2002 they traveled to Santiago de Cuba to drink from the original source and that is why they know how to interpret Cuban music with great precision. For that reason, each year they are invited by the Provincial Music Center of Santiago de Cuba to participate in the Festival de la Trova and the Matamoros Son, among other prestigious events. In our continent they have played at the Tempo Latino Festival in France, in the Major Festivals of Barcelona and in other Catalan municipalities. They are part of the exclusive group of orchestras that the Antilla and Barts veues offer in their musical programming. Group resident since 2011 at the Harlem Jazz Club and at the Palace Hotel.
