We imagine that if you are a tap dance fan you already know these Jams, but just in case you are not, you are curious or just want to have a good Sunday afternoon, take good note: Barcelona is surely one of the few European cities with a stable Jam of tap dancing, something very common in the United States. Thanks to the great passion and evolution that has been created in our city in the art of creating rhythms with the feet, tap dancing has been growing, and these meetings have been held for more than 20 years.
Tap Jam are improvised tap sessions by professional dancers accompanied by live musicians. His goal, in addition to creating a nucleus for all the tap dancers in Barcelona, is for advanced students to start dancing in public, and for professional dancers to practice new music and improvisation.
Tap Jam is presented by the tap dancer Laia Molins and is a show always open to spontaneous collaborations (singers, musicians or dancers).
It is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
If you want to go beyond the Tap Jam, keep in mind that it is part of an annual and stable tap dance program in Barcelona.
