El Triunfo del Color, De Van Gogh a Matisse

This exhibition, organized specifically for the inauguration of the exhibition hall Casa Garriga i Nogués of the Mapfre Foundation in Barcelona, explains how color becomes one of the ways to get from the impressionism to the avant-garde painting, through 72 important works coming from the d'Orsay Museum in Paris. Among the painters are Van Gogh, Matisse, Seurat, Gauguin, Cezanne, Monet, Derain and Renoir. These are masterpieces that have rarely been exhibited outside the Museum d'Orsay and have been specially assigned to this inauguration.
