Little cinephiles intends to be a school of small spectators, a date for all film-loving families who want to transmit this passion to their children. The films are grouped in monographic cycles around an author, a director or an animation studio, and new styles and animation techniques used throughout the world are announced.
The Plaza Dibuja is a free activity open to the public, with the support of the Barcelona City Council and the La Real Association, as well as the Banco de Sabadell Foundation and Royal Talens. And most interestingly, several spaces that normally are not accessible will be opened, to have different points of view on the plaza: The Philippines Club, the roofs of The Foundery and Kabul, and of course, of the Setba Foundation itself. In this way the cartoonists will have new perspectives of the square.
The Píndoles (pills) festival of microtheatres outside the theater was the first Barcelona festival of this discipline. It seeks to become the benchmark of professional microtheatre in Catalonia and, at the same time, provide space and voice to young playwrights and performers. Sónar + D is an international congress that has been held since 2013. Its objective is to explore the way in which creativity modifies our present and how that same creativity imagines new futures. In this multidisciplinary congress, which is held in parallel to the Sónar Barcelona, researchers, innovators and leaders of the business world collaborate, and brings together in Barcelona outstanding artists, musicians, creatives, designers, filmmakers, thinkers, scientists, entrepreneurs, makers and hackers.
