Architecture Weeks offer seven weeks of programming to strengthen the relationship between architecture and citizenship. With the participation of 74 organizations and 12 universities, more than 183 activities will be offered aimed at all audiences, reflecting on the city's adaptation to current challenges and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on Barcelona 2026 as World Capital of Architecture.
Barcelona Poetry
Barcelona Poetry 2024 promotes connection through poetry, highlighting the everyday and the exceptional human. This year, the festival expands throughout the city and includes multilingual performances and surprise events. On May 22, the Palau de la Música will host the 39th International Poetry Festival.

The Night of the Museums in Barcelona
In Barcelona and its metropolitan area, 87 cultural centers will be open free of charge from 7:00 p.m. on May 18 until 1:00 a.m. on May 19. But on the Night of the Museums, in addition to visiting them, you can also participate in numerous activities for all ages. In total, you will have access to 171 activities.
Festival of the Dreta de l'Eixample and Modernist Fair
Parade with dance of giants, big heads, popular foods, sports competitions, children's workshops, concerts and dances, exhibitions, theater and cinema, and the modernist fair in the most modernist neighborhood of Barcelona.
Grec Festival of Barcelona
This year's Grec, directed by Cesc Casadesús, closes a journey begun in 2017, exploring the essence of the festival and celebrating eight-year partnerships. Prominent international artists such as Lola Arias perform at Teatre Lliure and Mercat de les Flors, while Teatre Grec is reserved for local talent. The opening with Silvia Pérez Cruz features the participation of several friendly artists. The musical program includes concerts at the Teatre Grec and free performances in the gardens of the TNC. In theater and hybrid scene, from updated classics to contemporary plays are presented on various stages in Barcelona. The Grec Ciutat offers a variety of proposals in Barcelona's theaters, including works such as "Elizabeth Costello" by Krzysztof Warlikowski and "What the Foc?!" by Gerardo Salinas and Junior Mthombeni. OH!ÓPERA at the Gran Teatre del Liceu presents small-format operas, while Catalan classics and new creations are included in various venues such as the Centre de les Artes Lliures and the Antic Teatre. In addition, the MNAC and the Tàpies Foundation exhibit art installations of interest.
