The 7th Global Forum of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (MUFPP) will be held in Barcelona between October 19 and 21, 2021. The main theme will be Cultivating resilience: Sustainable food to face the climate emergency.

Last year was quite a challenge and the 7th Global Forum of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact will be an excellent opportunity to (re) connect, exchange experiences, challenges, knowledge and best practices with the shared goal of fixing our urban food systems while the climate emergency is addressed. Given that the critical United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP26) will be held in Glasgow in November 2021, the MUFPP Global Forum (for its acronym in English) in Barcelona will be very strategic to highlight the nexus between food and the weather.

At the Barcelona Forum, The Barcelona Challenge on Good Food and Climate will be presented, an innovative tool to encourage cities to work on transforming food systems, reducing food waste and continuing to comply with the 2030 Agenda.
