La Casa de Bernarda Alba, is the last work that Federico García Lorca wrote before being assassinated and that he did not see represented. This classic by the Granada-born poet and playwright was first performed in 1945 in Buenos Aires thanks to the initiative of the Spanish actress Margarita Xirgu.

The Casa de Bernarda Alba arrives at the Sala Ars Teatre in a free adaptation of the company. In the 60 minutes this adaptation lasts, its director manages to transmit all the power of repression and human passions. Envy, jealousy, greed, lust ... are the breeding ground in which the characters of Bernarda Alba's house move.
