Extreme Barcelona is the most relevant extreme sports and urban culture festival in the city and is internationally recognized. After 16 years, the event is a fully consolidated and rooted in Barcelona being one of the longest running urban sporting events worldwide. In this year's edition, Extreme Barcelona will celebrate in a special way its connection with the Olympic Games, with a program full of free activities, international competitions and urban culture.
The 2024 edition of Extreme Barcelona
The city's biggest urban sports event will bring more sport and spectacle with national and international athletes who have just shined in Paris.
In this upcoming edition number 16 will feature all urban sports present in the Olympic Games as BMX, Skateboarding and Breaking (Cts of Spain), plus others such as Scootering and Trampoline.
Since its inception, Extreme Barcelona has been the cradle of many successful athletes who have participated in previous events and qualified for the Olympics. This edition continues to consolidate its role as a reference event for the best urban athletes in Spain and the world:
- Danny León: Born in 1994 in Móstoles, Madrid, Danny has been a constant competitor in Extreme Barcelona, where he has won multiple titles. He will also compete in his 2nd Olympic Games in Paris 2024. He excelled at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where he placed 9th in the Park category, and at the World Skateboarding Tour in Dubai 2024, where he was crowned champion. His skateboarding skills have allowed him to dominate key events such as the Dew Tour and the X Games.
- Natalia Muñoz: The 15-year-old skateboarder from Cadiz, one of the youngest members of the Spanish delegation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, will compete in Barcelona in September showing her talent. A stage where she already won silver in 2022, this year she is looking for a repeat podium.
- Daniela Terol: With only 15 years old, Daniela is the first reserve in women's skateboarding for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and already knows what it's like to win in the Extreme Barcelona, her first victory in the event she won when she was only 10 years old.
- Daniel Dhers: The Venezuelan rider won the Olympic silver medal in BMX Freestyle in Tokyo 2020. He will be present at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as coach of the Chinese national team. Dhers, who is a benchmark in BMX, has announced that he will retire from professional BMX at Extreme Barcelona 2024.

Music
Emerging artists from the Barcelona scene that will fill the Parc del Fòrum with Rap (qualifying battle of the STLW League), Trap and Hip Hop, setting the pace for all sports competitions.
Enjoy
A space designed for all ages and levels, and with many options to try the current trends in the world of outdoor fun. The esplanade of columns of the Parc del Fòrum will become a small urban sports theme park with a surf skate area, pump tracks, miniramps, market and food trucks.
