The Festival of the Holy Family, known as the Festival of Poblet will take place from 19 to 28 April with a program full of popular culture and activities for all tastes.
About forty entities sign this year's festival program, which for ten days will fill the streets of Poblet festive atmosphere and joy. The program is a reflection of the cultural diversity, cohesion and commitment of the associative fabric with the neighborhood.
Among the activities, you will find everything from family and sports activities to fairs and street markets, workshops, talks and popular meals. You can also enjoy youth concerts, classical music, dances of the world and a game of scavenger hunt. Once again this year, popular culture has a prominent role with the afternoon of fire, the giants, the matinades, the sardana dance, the meeting of bobbin lace-makers and the Diada castellera.
The reading of the proclamation will mark the beginning of the festival on Friday April 19 and will be in charge of the Esbart Gaudí, which this year celebrates its 75th anniversary. It will take place at 8 pm in Marina Street, between Provença and Mallorca. A little earlier, at 7 pm, there will be an initial parade through the streets of the neighborhood with the group of devils of the Bestialots Espurnats, Beirão Percussió, Honduran Collective Honducat and the Farfolletes.
