An exhibition dedicated to the photographer Leopoldo Pomés (Barcelona, 1931) showing his creative career from the beginning, linked to the group Dau al Set, until today. Leopoldo Pomés (Barcelona, 1931) is one of the undisputed names of Catalan contemporary photography from the second half of the twentieth century. Photographer, journalist, cartoonist, filmmaker, poet, entrepreneur and gourmet has shown throughout his career a constant passion for image. A man with an overflowing personality and extraordinary capacity for seduction, Pomés was able to overcome the narrow limits of the photographic orthodoxy and the simple chronicle of Barcelona in the 50s and 60s, to capture the spirit of the new times through his images. His great poetic potential made him an innovative creator in the advertising world , which at that time was beginning to awaken in Spain. Since 1961, when he created Studio Pomés, he has continued to combine his passion for photography with his advertising work.
