The Mecal 2024 Festival, in its 26th edition, is consolidating itself as one of the most important events in the world of short films and animation in Barcelona. This year, the festival stands out for its extensive programming that includes a selection of the best international short films, along with documentaries and avant-garde animations.
From June 27 to July 7, the city becomes the epicenter of alternative cinema with outdoor screenings at the Can Framis Museum and other emblematic locations. In addition, the festival offers a variety of complementary activities such as master classes, round tables and workshops, providing an ideal platform for film professionals and fans.
