Next Sunday, November 24, the Palau de la Música Catalana organizes its usual Open Day. An event to enjoy the architecture of the modernist building World Heritage Site.
What will it be possible to visit?
For 30 minutes visitors will be able to move freely through the different areas of the Palau de la Música Catalana: the concert hall (stalls and second floor); the Lluís Millet hall and the balcony overlooking the garden of the columns; the Palau Square, where the Maria Canals International Music Competition will install a piano for everyone to play; and the Palau store, where you can enjoy a 5% discount on books and CDs, and a 10% discount on other items.
There is even more
There will also be a photo contest through social networks, in which a dinner for two at the Café del Palau will be raffled. To participate post your photo with the hashtag #PortesObertesPalau24.
The Palau de la Música's open day is normally free but this year they are once again asking for a minimum donation of €1.00 to benefit the Palau Vincles social project, the Palau de la Música Catalana's socio-musical project, which aims to promote social inclusion and integration through the collective choral practice of children and young people in vulnerable areas or situations.
