Barcelona residents can visit the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia for free every weekend until the end of December. That is the tribute that the best-known church in Barcelona wants to pay to citizens after the coup that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused at an economic and psychological level.
When the Sagrada Familia opened its doors after the confinement phase, it did so first for the health workers, law enforcement officers and other professionals essential to keep the city running. Now it is the turn of the rest of the citizens, that is why they have called this initiative "Barcelona Time". This offer will allow you to contemplate the interior of Gaudí's temple at your own pace, and what is more interesting, with a reduced capacity.
Keep in mind that the tickets for the month of September were offered from August 4 and sold out in four hours. Tickets for December 12 will go on sale on November 2 at 12:00 pm so hurry to reserve.
