The Virreina Centre de la Imatge presents "Sophie Calle, Modus vivendi" a comprehensive retrospective of the work of French artist has made since the mid-1980s to the present. The exhibition is presented in two parts, one part is the artist projects relating to others revealing her way of by converting ways of looking and by searching for beauty .: the series The Blinds (1986) is not only the theme of blindness but also how to remember what doesn´t exist longer and what defines identity in the sea, a picture or a person. In the second part of the exhibition the artist presents project of one of the central themes of her artistic expression. The relationship between the accuracy of personal narrative and fiction: Here is the series True Stories / Autobiographies, with different episodes narrated by Sophie Call herself, or the largest installation of his career, Take Care of Yourself (2007), an exhibit at the French Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. The tour ends in the old dining room of the Palau de La Virreina, a room occupied by her with objects and revealing how she experiences love and desires and how to interact with others and with art.
