Arissa. The Shadow and the Photographer, 1922-1936

Antoni Arissa (Sant Andreu 1900- Barcelona 1980) was a Catalan photographer of the early twentieth century. The exhibition features more than 160 black and white photographs, taken between 1922 and 1936, which demonstrate his professional career from its beginnings until the thirties when he began to apply the principles of the New Vision . This style was adopted throughout Europe by graphic designers and printers and Antoni Arissa was fully incorporated in the photographic avant-garde.
