The Magic Kings Parade

The Three Kings Parade is the most anticipated children's event of the year. On the night of January 5, a large parade is organized through the streets of Barcelona with the Three Kings of the Orient, who are accompanied by a large retinue of pages, letter carriers, floats and troupes of artistic companies, and other groups. Since the sixties of the last century, the Kings arrive in Barcelona by sea, in the Pailebote Santa Eulàlia, and are received by the mayor or mayoress, who gives them the keys of the city so that they can open the doors of all the houses of Barcelona and deliver gifts to all the children.

After the ceremony of handing over the keys, the Kings will prepare to start the route of approximately 5 km from 18:00 pm. The route starts at Avinguda Marquès de l'Argentera and ends at the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc.

The route and the hours of passage of the Magic Kings Parade 2024

This year, the route of the parade will be somewhat different from usual due to the works of the Vila Laietana.

• 18:00 h: avinguda Marquès de l'Argentera with Passeig de la Circumval-lació
• 18:20 h: passeig de Colom
• 19:15 h: Paral-lel avenue
• 19:30 h: Sant Pau roundabout
• 19:45 h: Sant Antoni market
• 20:15 h: Sepúlveda Street
• 20:30 h: Plaça Espanya
• 21:00 h: avinguda Reina Maria Cristina
