The 12th edition of the festival focuses on how the climate crisis has changed our relationship with energy. The proposals for this edition propose new energetically self-sufficient post-carbon urban icons, such as the work Another Moon by the Korean collective Kimchi and Chips, in which a "second moon", drawn by lasers powered solely by solar energy, will float over the Central Park of Poblenou ; or We Harvest Wind by the Dutchman Thijs Biersteker, an interactive kinetic sculpture powered by wind forces that summons the air.

BCNegra
In this year's edition, BCNegra focuses on duplicity, doubles and parallel situations. The festival will explore the literary double as an expression of duality, binaryism and the struggle between extremes. Those in charge of submerging us in the double life, will be authors and authors of diverse origins, some veterans and others yet to be discovered. Names of the genre ranging from Leonardo Padura to Dominique Manotti, Claudia Piñeiro, Dolores Redondo, Alexis Ravelo, Núria Cadenes or Petros Márkaris, to name a few of the best known.

BCN Sports Film - Barcelona International FICTS Festival
In the 13th edition of the BCN Sports Film Festival you will be able to see 67 productions spread over 7 venues. All the sessions will be free and there will be documentaries, fiction and animation short films and unpublished audiovisual productions. Among the selected productions, The Queen of Basketball stands out, a documentary that won the Oscar for Best Documentary Short Film in 2022 and tells us the impressive story of Lucy Harrys, who scored the first women's Olympic basket, and was the first and only woman selected officially.
