La Mercè 2017, festival of festivals

The festival of festivals is coming. Javier Mariscal has designed this year's poster celebrating 25 years of the Olympic Games, and Marina Garcés, professor of Philosophy at the University of Zaragoza, although residing in Barcelona, will do the opening speech. In this edition La Mercè is spread throughout Barcelona, incorporating new spaces that will bring the celebrations to the neighborhoods, and will organize many activities in which the participation of the public will be required.
The city invited this year is Reykjavík, which will offer us a taste of its artistic potential in all sections of La Mercè, including the Festival of Fire and Light, in which Sigga Soffia, a specialist in contemporary dance, will apply her knowledge derived from dance in the creation of exceptional pyrotechnics

And you can enjoy all of them by visiting the spaces that this year's edition opens its doors to the public
