New Year's Eve, The Chimes of New Year
This year, like the previous one, the show that will take us to 2020 between ooooohs! It has been conceived by the French company Group F, also known for having created the opening event of the Rio Games. For twelve minutes, they will tour the twelve months of the year and travel to different places in the world where the year has already changed. Then the 12 bells and the burst of fireworks and flames will arrive that will welcome the new year. And finally, a poetic show with evocative images of the natural world. The result is both great and delicate, very exciting and excellent for a collective celebration. A very special experience for those who want to celebrate the arrival of 2020 on the street.

Expo Piezas Lego
It all started six years ago, in Poland, as a hobby, and after the first exhibition held in 2013 it has become the largest exhibition of Lego pieces in Europe. To give an idea of the size, Expo Piezas Lego consists of 30 million blocks and is transported in 25 trucks. More figures, it has already been seen by more than 3 million people in 7 countries in Europe, and 100 people work on the project. In Expo Piezas Lego you can see more than 100 models that are organized in thematic areas, which occupy 2000 m2.

Gameplay. Video Game Culture
Since they became popular in the seventies and eighties, video games have developed as an expressive and entertainment medium, and have taken center stage in our imaginary: nowadays contemporary society and culture cannot be understood without having consider the video game. Gameplay travels to the origins of video games to analyze their language and value the impact they have had on both digital popular culture and art and society. Gameplay is intended as an exhibition to play, and at the same time understand the culture of the game and enjoy it in a critical spirit. It's about (re)discovering and (re)playing.

St. Stephen's Concert in Barcelona
Traditional Sant Esteve concert at the Palau de la Música Catalana. This great celebration of all the choirs that form the soul of the Palau de la Música Catalana, is already one of the most important annual events of the institution. They will play Catalan and international folk carols, with new arrangements and there will also be some premieres.

La ciutat dels somnis
La Ciutat dels Somnis (The city of dreams) aims to bring the world of professions to children between 0 and 12 years old through 120 recreational and educational activities. Children can play as a cook, computer scientist, mechanic, chemist, veterinarian, journalist or actor, among many other trades (115 in total), to discover the tasks that must be developed in each of them. The ultimate goal is for children to discover and experience what they like best. In the Ciutat dels Somnis, in addition to learning new professions, children will be shown the importance of taking care of the Earth. The Institutions, organizations and companies present at the festival will explain how they are applying the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) of the UN to achieve a sustainable future. But there will be much more: a Showcooking, a Smart Mobility Track, a children's plenary of the City Council and a large sports area with the presence of FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol.

In time with the seasons! Christmas Screenings
The CCCB offers us for free in its hall, four animated films and a live film and musical show aimed at children and the whole family. If last year in Stories of daily life we were shown the good and bad moments in the day to day of life, this year, the cycle focuses on the passage of time and seasons through rhythm and music. The themes are varied, but all are set around nature.

The Factory of the Three Magic Kings
The Factory of the Three Magic Kings is a show that recreates the making of toys that the tireless workers and goblins of the Three Magic Kings carry out between the end of December and the beginning of January. Everything has to be ready so that the Kings of the East can distribute the gifts to all the children on the night of January 5, so that they live the illusion of discovery when they wake up on the 6th.
