D’A – Film Festival Barcelona
D'A 2021 opens on April 29 with the French film Goodbye, idiots by Albert Dupontel, a crazy road trip that has become the great winner of this year's César Awards. You will also be able to see films by great cinema masters such as The phone of the wind, Nobuhiro Suwa's return to Japan to portray the fragile emotional recovery ten years after the tsunami; Abel Ferrara's Siberia, the sixth film by the New Yorker starring Williem Dafoe, practically turned into the director's alter ego in his eternal drive between sex and death; or Rizi / Days by the great Asian director Tsai Ming-liang, a marvel that won the Teddy award at the last Berlinale.

Felix Gonzalez-Torres: The Politics of Relation
MACBA presents a great retrospective of the work of the American-Cuban artist Felix Gonzalez-Torres. Although it is a retrospective, Felix Gonzalez-Torres. Politics of the relationship places the artist's work within the postcolonial discourse and the connected histories of Spain and the American continent, especially when they affect issues such as memory, authority, freedom and national identity.

Family Cinema in the Children's Rights Film Series
This year's Children's Rights Film Series (CCDI) is entitled "Barcelona takes care of children". Its objective is to focus on the rights of children to care and protection, to ensure all the necessary attention for their well-being, and they can grow up surrounded by respect and care. In this year's edition the films PLOEY: You will never fly alone, The Young and Prodigious Spivet and A monster calls will be screened.

Antoine, the musical
After passing through the stages of Madrid, Valencia and Granada, "Antoine, the musical" arrives in Barcelona as part of his national tour. "Antoine" tells the story of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, creator of "The Little Prince", a universally known work. This musical represents the union that existed between its author and his main character, and reflects an entire life guided by adventure. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was ahead of his time and carried his passion to know the world where no one had imagined before.

A tu vera: Flamenco Cycle in Barcelona
The Sala Apolo has been adapted to a concert format on a human scale (or almost, given the circumstances) so that we can enjoy the art of Duquende; the uncomplexed fusion of Lucía Fernanda; and the brightest stars of the new constellation of this art: the cantaor Israel Fernández together with Diego del Morao.
