Christmas at the Port - Moll de la Fusta
Christmas at the Port expands this year beyond the Bosch i Alsina pier (Moll de la Fusta), covering the docks of Barceloneta, Dipòsit, and Barcelona, as well as Pau Vila square. The most outstanding novelties will be Illusions, a multi-user virtual reality experience, and the illumination of the Jaume I Cable Car Tower. Not missing this year will be the synthetic ice rink, the Ferris wheel, the traditional attractions and the Christmas market with the stage for concerts.

Christmas Concert at Sagrada Familia
The Basilica of the Sagrada Familia will celebrate its Christmas Concert with the participation of local choirs and the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, directed by Pere Lluís Biosca. 350 free double tickets will be offered through a drawing, and registration will be open from November 27 to December 4.

Barcelona’s Christmas Festival in Plaça de Catalunya
The Plaza de Catalunya, in the heart of Barcelona, becomes as usual in recent years, on a stage where there will be activities for all ages. Händel's Messiah concert in Barcelona
The oratorio The Messiah by Georg Friedrich Händel will be represented in Barcelona in the Basilica Santa Maria del Mar. Händel composed this work in London in 1741 in only three weeks, and although it is an oratorio associated with Christmas, this work is about all life of Jesus. Performed by the Polifònica de Puig-Reig choir and the Jove Filharmònica Catalana (Joficat), directed by Melani Mestre.
