This cycle, active weekly from May to October, has become a classic of Barcelona's summer, combining quality music with an excellent gastronomic offer. In addition, this year each month will pay tribute to a different country in its musical program and gastronomic selection.
The 32nd edition of the International Women's Film Festival (MIFDB) is organized in two moments: Vol. I and Vol. II. Vol. I, which begins on May 21 at the Filmoteca de Catalunya, presents 46 films in programs such as Film Persistentes, Sara Gómez Retrospective, Cinema out of place, Special sessions, Family sessions and Educational activities.
Music:Response at THE CUBE at Casa Batlló
Casa Batlló and Sónar, two major cultural institutions in Barcelona, have teamed up to offer an innovative music and visual arts experience created with reworked music by The Chemical Brothers and visuals by Smith & Lyall. The installation has been produced with pixels, high-end audio and contributions from top artists, creators and engineers. More than a space, we could speak of a blank canvas open to maximum creativity that transports attendees to the heart of the music.
Impulso, the new show by Mayumana
"IMPULSO" is Mayumana's new show that narrates the journey of life through rhythm and movement, exploring diverse emotions and moods. With an eclectic mix of cultures, the music ranges from African percussions to electronic beats, and combines rhythm, dance, lights, music and humor.
Art Photo Bcn is an emerging photography festival aimed at professionals and students, as well as amateurs and the general public. In the eleventh edition of Art Photo Bcn, 20 exhibitors from 6 countries will exhibit more than 200 works by more than 30 authors, highlighting international and local representation, especially from Barcelona.
Micro theater outside the theater. A varied and quality programme: drama, comedy, thriller... and micro-shows from other disciplines such as dance, poetry, the circus or the theater of objects.
