20 years ago, Primavera Sound began its journey in Poble Espanyol. And the celebration is going to be important. They have insisted on putting 20 years of music in a single line-up ... and they have succeeded. This year you will enjoy the most panoramic, open and inclusive program in the entire history of the festival: a wide range of disciplines, sensibilities and backgrounds, to celebrate the role of Primavera Sound as a backbone of the cultural zeitgeist of the last two decades. Through the scenarios of the 2020 edition, 211 artists of 35 nationalities will pass to sound past, present and future. This year's festival will be a photo of all time that will also show the identity they have built year after year.

The plays of La Badabadoc creative space
The Badabadoc is a theater and a creation space in the Gràcia quarter that has been offering stable theater programming since 2016. Its vocation is the independent author's theater and its stage includes emerging companies from Barcelona, but also international companies. In their intimate space, where they program theater, dance and music, you can enjoy an intense experience due to the proximity with the artists.

SON DE LA RAMBLA – cuban music
Concert by the Son de la Rambla group at the Harlem Jazz Club. Son de la Rambla is a group of friends and veteran musicians from Barcelona who play traditional Cuban music at the Harlem Jazz Club. If you are a fan of son, nengon, guaracha, bolero and trova, one Saturday of every month, do not miss the Son de la Rambla concert on Comtessa de Sobradiel 8 street in the Gothic Quarter.

The black novel festival BCNegra 2020, which reaches its fifteenth edition, has positioned itself as one of the most important events of the black genre in terms of the number of participating writers, the variety of content and the commitment to other cultural expressions in relation to gender and the success of the public in all the activities carried out. All BCNegra activities are free and you can attend talks, round tables, screenings, exhibitions and guided tours, which in the current year's edition will take you to the cemeteries of Poblenou (night route) and Montjuïc (day route).

Chinese New Year in Barcelona
The Chinese Celebration of the New Year is this year on Saturday 1st February with a big parade in the streets of Eixample and Born quarter, between Estación del Norte and the Arc de Triomf. The parade will be another year the main event of the celebration in Barcelona of the most important holiday on the Chinese calendar, which this year is dedicated to the Rat or Mouse, in Chinese: 鼠, shǔ (we will enter in the year 4718 that according to the calendar Chinese zodiac corresponds to the Rat or Mouse).
