Sónar Barcelona
Sónar adds 27 new shows to the festival programme, which will take place in Barcelona on 16, 17 and 18 June 2022 at its usual venues at Fira Montjuïc and Fira Gran Via. New additions include global stars such as Eric Prydz, Nathy Peluso, Folamour, Reinier Zonneveld, Helena Hauff, Kiddy Smile and Avalon Emerson and the four-handed tandem of Tiga and Hudson Mohawke presenting their new rave project 'Love Minus Zero'. Urban Nature
If you enter the universe "Urban nature" it is as if you walk inside a movie that takes place in a city. At the moment there is no 3D, 4D or XD installation that can overcome it, because the characters in this story, or rather, stories, are real. This performative installation / play offers you a journey through the stories of seven characters who have crossed lives, although in some cases they seem opposite. "Urban Nature" is a work by Rimini Protokoll, a company that takes the theater beyond its limits.

Escher
The first exhibition in Catalonia of the work Maurits Cornelis Escher (Leeuwarden, Netherlands, 1898 - Laren, Netherlands, 1972) is achieving great public and critical success, thanks to the exceptional collection on display and the spectacular assembly, which includes science experiments, play areas and activities that help to understand the creative universe of the artist. At Escher you can see more than 200 original works, which constitute an important retrospective of the enigmatic sketches and paradoxical designs of this author.

My Fair Lady
The Gran Teatre del Liceu hosts the first performance in Barcelona of the famous musical My Fair Lady, by Frederik Loewe, based on the comedy Pygmalion (1913), by George Bernaw Shaw. Genre specialist Alfonso Casado Blat will conduct the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in a semi-staged concert version created by British stage director Guy Unsworth.
