NiceOne Barcelona (N1B) celebrates its 4th edition from November 28 to December 1. The videogame fair organized by Fira de Barcelona, aims to become the largest digital entertainment festival in Spain and one of the reference events within the international scene. It is a professional fair, open to the general public, that acts as a platform to boost the industry and talent with the organization of several initiatives to foster relations between national and international professionals. The contest will feature a program of meetings with developers, investors and distributors, mentoring sessions for new creators, as well as a scenario where universities will present their training offer around the world of videogames.
News and outstanding activities of the 2019 edition
The most striking novelty of this edition is the name change. Barcelona Games World, the videogame room organized by Fira de Barcelona, becomes NiceOne Barcelona (N1B). With this change the opening to new areas of the world of digital entertainment is evident. N1B incorporates new sectors to its offer and consolidates the experiential model. - Reinforcement of the offer of videogame terminals with a new area that will have 320 terminals where you can enjoy a wide variety of titles and modalities. It is also committed to streaming platforms, series and movies.
- The next edition of NiceOne Barcelona (N1B) will host the second edition of the Iberian Cup, the League of Legends (LoL) competition organized by the LVP (MEDIAPRO Group) with the support of Riot Games. The tournament will once again unite professional teams from Spain and Portugal, as well as the amateur universe of both countries, and will celebrate its final phase during the N1B.
- N1B will take visitors to live in first person the immersive experience of entering the Ourang Medan, the Dutch ship that disappeared in the late 1940s, and the setting of the TDP video game Man of Medan, the first title of the series The Dark Pictures Anthology of Bandai Namco Entertainment. In addition, attendees can live the sensations of being in a city destroyed by the walking dead and experience what they have seen so many times in movies, series and video games. In the Zombie Shotter Experience, organized by RAW Organic Sport Drink, participants will have to flee the city equipped with laser tag weapons (latest laser combat technology).
- For the fourth time the Cop-Op Business Zone is held, a meeting space between distributors, investors and developers. The participation of forty video game creators and a fortnight of investors and distributors is expected, among which companies such as Bandai Namco, Tencent, Humble Bundle, Deep Silver, Jandusoft or Tilting Point.
