The mapping Casa Batlló: Living Architecture, by the Turkish-American artist Refik Anadol and inspired by the architecture of the house, will be projected onto the façade of one of the most important buildings created by Gaudí. The event, which will be held on May 5, will be free and there will be 5 passes of 10 minutes: at 9:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
The mapping was already screened last year and more than 47,000 people attended. The event drew unanimous cheers and shouts of admiration. In the media and social networks he also achieved great international reach. Living Architecture is a frenetic spectacle of lights, colors and electronic music, which transforms the façade of Casa Batlló to create digital art on top of analog art.
The artistic event is part of the 200th anniversary of Paseo de Gracia and is part of the special programming of Digital Impact, a pioneering digital art exhibition in Spain that brings together leading artists from the world scene such as Quayola, Random International, Universal Everything and the own Refik Anadol. The Casa Batlló team will participate in the conference cycle with a day dedicated to digital art in Barcelona, its challenges and opportunities.
