On Sundays in October, the Antoni Tàpies Foundation invites us to visit the Saâdane Afif. The fountain archives and beyond and Tàpies. Foregrounding Reality, and then have a vermouth on the terrace of the Fundació. The artist Marcel Duchamp, one of the exponents of Dadaism, is the link between these two exhibitions: the Duchampian work Fountain, 1917, is the starting point of the monumental archive of Saâdane Afif; and the exhibition Tàpies. The reality in the foreground tells us about Duchamp's influence on Tàpies's work, in which the banal or everyday object has an important presence.
The vermouth, which will be accompanied by chips, olives and croquettes from Nando Jubany, is a vermouth from Ametller Origin called "VR.MUTT" in honor of the Fountain work, consisting of a urinal placed upside down and signed R. Mutt.
Limited capacity. Required prior registration: activitats@ftapies.com
