The parks of Barcelona, the green spaces of Barcelona, are filled with music at sunset. The Park Güell, the Ciutadella Park, the Estació del Nord Park, the Joan Miró Park, the Barceloneta Park ... up to 34 green spaces in Barcelona will be the perfect setting for classical and jazz concerts. The interpreters are young formations selected for their quality, or bands or orchestras of municipal schools. In addition, in some of the parks and gardens, guided tours are organized prior to the concerts (2 hours or 1 hour and a half before) that will allow you to know the history, biodiversity and other aspects of the green space that will surprise you. In the program you can easily discover in which spaces you can follow the guided tour, but keep in mind that places are limited (maximum 35 people) and that it is necessary to register.
This series of summer concerts in the gardens and parks of Barcelona includes different styles of music, such as classical and jazz.
The 2020 edition of Music in the Parks
This year the 25th edition of the Music in the Parks cycle is celebrated. It is normally held in July and August, but due to the exceptional situation in which we live caused by COVID-19, a shortened edition of the cycle will be held with all the security measures in force, and only in two spaces: the Park Güell and the Joan Maragall Gardens (Mansion Albéniz). There will be no guided tours.
Schedule
8:30 p.m., but in order to avoid crowds, the public will be accommodated from 7:30 p.m.
