The "la Caixa" Foundation has produced a virtual reality experience, aimed at all audiences, in which viewers can discover the different instruments of the Symphony Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, conducted by Josep Pons and directed by Igor Cortadellas. The experience is a proposal for the dissemination of classical music that has never been seen or heard before, and follows in the footsteps of the multi-award-winning experience Symphony.
The spectators will be placed in the middle of the orchestra as if they were a member of the musical ensemble. They will be able to hear the sound of the instruments and feel the emotion of the conductor's gesture, the musicians' breathing and the magic that happens when they vibrate together.
Music and technology merge in a new experience.
Music has the most advanced technology in this virtual reality experience, in which the visual concept offers a real image filmed in 360º. The state-of-the-art recording system used provides a 360º sound experience, combining the most advanced technology with visual and musical sensitivity. This entire project has been developed by a great team of experts in the field.
Duration of the experience: 40 minutes
Please note that you should arrive 10 minutes before the start time, because once the session has begun, you will not be able to enter.
