If you enter the universe "Urban nature" it is as if you walk inside a movie that takes place in a city. At the moment there is no 3D, 4D or XD installation that can overcome it, because the characters in this story, or rather, stories, are real. This performative installation / play offers you a journey through the stories of seven characters who have crossed lives, although in some cases they seem opposite: a professor of economic and environmental history, a businessman from the new economies linked to technology and cities , a girl from the Raval neighborhood, a girl who lived on the street, a worker in the underground economy, a prison guard and a financial advisor.
"Urban Nature" is a work by Rimini Protokoll, a company that takes the theater beyond its limits. In this world premiere of their latest performative installation, the collective focuses on life in big cities.
In Rimini Protokoll's works, the audience becomes an actor and a protagonist. In this immersive tour you can immerse yourself in the stories of the characters and adopt their roles. Through an audiovisual story, the visit takes you through a scenography that functions as a film set.
Rimini Protokoll are Helgard Haug, Stefan Kaegi and Daniel Wetzel, a theater company with more than twenty years of experience in the five continents that has received numerous international recognitions. For the project "Urban Nature" they maintain their successful collaboration with the set designer Dominic Huber.
