Carnival in Barcelona
From February 8 to 14
For a week Barcelona will be filled with parades, masked balls, popular meals and sardine burials. The party will begin at 18:00h in the Plaza Sant Jaume with the distribution of masks. At 18.30h the retinue of King Carnival will arrive and then, in the middle of the festive apotheosis, the King Carnival will make its stellar appearance to proclaim, from the balcony of the Town Hall, its temporary reign of a week of wildness
Fiestas de Santa Eulàlia

The Fiestas de Santa Eulàlia are organized in honor of Santa Eulalia, patron of Barcelona. There are parades through the streets and squares of Ciutat Vella with giants and big heads, eagles, lions, dance groups, devils, dragons and other characters

Eufònic Urbà

Eufònic Urbà in Arts Santa Mónica offers a selection of some of the best audiovisual performances and experimental proposals of the original edition of Eufònic, the festival of sound and visual arts that takes place at the end of summer in Terres de l'Ebre. Highlight the "Frack" installations of the French Sandra and Gaspard Bebié-Valérian, who explore the sonorities of the failed Castor project, and "In Between" by the Italian artist Fabio Perletta, who work with the potential of the rice sound
Emergència!

This festival is a sample of emerging and independent music scenebands and it is an opportunity to meet groups that we may see in major festivals in the near future. The 2018 edition in CCCB is a tribute to the festival's ten-year history and you can listen to bands that have performed in past Emergència! editions.
