Extreme Sailing Series
From July 20 to 23
Barcelona will host for the first time the Extreme Sailing Series, an extreme sailing competition near the coast that travels 8 countries on 3 continents for 10 months. On the occasion of the event, the city will be filled with free activities around the sail and the public can follow the show from the Village or from the beach of Sant Sebastià, in an accessible way and totally free 
Voll-Damm International Jazz Festival Barcelona

The Barcelona International Jazz Festival is a worldwide reference of the genre, thanks to its tireless work to offer a balanced program with first names and new proposals. Free concerts, master classes by first figures, conferences, meetings with artists ... and many off activities complete the programm.

On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the birth of the writer and philosopher Walter Benjamin (Berlin, 1892 - Portbou, 1940), this collaborative project has been organized between different institutions and schools of Fine Arts: the Weißensee Kunsthochschule in Berlin - Visuelle Kommunikation. Digitale Medien, the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, the Llotja d'Arts i Disseny in Barcelona and the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid
La Traviata in Barcelona
3, 20 and 31 of August, and 5 of December
The opera La Traviata is represented at the Palau de la Música several dates until 5 December. The great work of the master Giuseppe Verdi, based on the novel "The Lady of the Camellias" by Alexander Dumas, son, will be represented in a unique way.
