Van Van is an itinerant gastronomic market consisting of a convoy of food trucks, offering a wide range of quality gastronomy. Van Van aspires to be an authentic popular festival, a party in which to enjoy the gastronomic culture in the public space. On Sunday the 29th there will be a special day of Van Van because the Lost&Found Market will also be celebrated.
Fourteenth edition of the World Press Photo the exhibition of the photographs which have received this prestigious international award for photojournalism. This photo exhibition, held at the CCCB, presents the award winning images of the 2018 edition. The exhibition is considered worldwide as the most important in the field of photojournalism and is known for the quality of their photographs, as well as the debate and criticism generated by each exposed work. The winning photograph this year is "Venezuela Crisis", by Venezuelan photographer Ronaldo Schemidt.
On May 2 at 8:00 pm at the House of Russia in Barcelona a classical music concert is held with the interpretation of the duet formed by Sandro Bukhuashvili (piano) and David Hernando Vitores (sax). The program includes the world-renowned works of Russian composers virtuously intertwined with jazz melodies, Japanese folklore and Latin American rhythms. Admission is free, but limited capacity so it is necessary prior registration.

The fair, reference of Spain and one of the most relevant of southern Europe in its specialty, will feature the participation of 150 exhibitors who will offer all kinds of products and materials. The thread of this "Nordic Edition" will be the "hygge", the new trend throughout Europe, which is based on the concept that has made Denmark the happiest country in the world.
Barcelona will host for the second time the Extreme Sailing Series, an extreme sailing competition near the coast that travels 8 countries on 3 continents for 10 months. On the occasion of the event (the third act of the season), the city will be filled with free activities around the sail and the public can follow the show from the Village or from the beach of Sant Sebastià, in an accessible way and totally free.
