Halloween in Barcelona: highlights of activities
Trick or treat, or the night of the dead that we are very much alive. Here you will find a list of the most outstanding activities in which you can participate on the eve of All Saints' Eve and, some of them, even more days. To put you in situation, it wouldn't be bad if you first go to a chestnut and sweet potato stall, and then buy some panellets, or the other way around; to keep traditions alive. Then go up to Tibidabo or Montjuïc to experience an extreme night, leave Barcelona with the whole family to visit Catalonia in miniature, go to the cinema or theater, or get ready to dance the night away.
For the love of the Arts
For the Love of the Arts is made up of 35 films this year, including Albert Serra's "Pacifiction", Louis Malle's "Vanya on 42nd street", Hirokazu Koreeda's "Air Doll", David Lynch's "Dune" and John Ford's "The Grapes of Wrath".
Forever Van Gogh, a unique show in Barcelona
Dario Regattieri presents Forever Van Gogh, an immersive theatrical work of a genius of painting at the Teatro Apolo in Barcelona. It is a unique project with music by Ara Malikian, written and directed by the literary genius Ignasi Vidal. Forever Van Gogh fuses dance, music, theater and new technologies (AI) to offer a memorable experience based on the paintings of the Dutch painter.
Barcelona Boat Show, a special edition
The Barcelona Boat Show will participate in the 37th edition of the America's Cup with a special format adapted to the event, focused on sustainability and technology. Although the traditional format of the show will be limited by the celebration of the Cup, innovations in the sector will be presented, including sustainable boats and clean propulsion systems.
Posidonia Green Festival
A festival to promote environmental protection, culture focused on sustainability and also artistic expression. During the days of the festival you can attend talks, workshops, concerts and screenings. All activities are free of charge.
Guided night tour at the Fabra Observatory
In this activity you will visit the inside of the building, while the expert guides explain the details of its history and the main members who worked and took care of the Fabra Observatory, you will enjoy a lecture, the views of Barcelona from the outside of the dome and you will be able to observe the moon, planets and even asteroids, depending on the day of the year.
Barcelona Draws, free drawing and creation workshops
In this year's edition you will find more than forty proposals for you to enjoy and learn how to draw. Experiment with the guidance of professional experts from the art world, who will challenge you to explore new ideas in your strokes. In addition, this year, the evening workshops are back, suitable for those over 16 years old.
