Liceu a la fresca aims to spread music and opera to expand the operatic culture of the citizens. The bases of this social project of the Barcelona opera are the dissemination, demystification and accessibility to this musical genre.
Every Friday in the summer the Casa de les Punxes offers a musical performance of jazz, swing, bossanova, soul and other rhythms on the roof of this emblematic modernist building, masterpiece by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. The price of the entrance includes a free visit to the roof, access to the exhibition (from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm) on the main floor, live musical performance and a glass of cava.
"Cinema Lliure a la Platja" is a free sample of independent film projected on the beach of San Sebastian (next to the beach of Barceloneta). This year's edition highlights "Estiu 1993" by Carla Simón (2017). Remember that the seats are sand but you can take a beach chair, a beach fridge and a pack of cigarettes.
6th edition of the Bach Festival of Barcelona, an international festival with performers from all over Europe coming to Barcelona to perform the music of the German genius in some of the most emblematic areas of the city such as the Palau de la Música, the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, La Pedrera or the courtyard of the Frederic Marès Museum. Bachcelona wants to be something more than a concert program and always aim to enhance the experience, interaction, outreach and the more playful aspects of Bach's music with other activities.
One more year Barcelona will dance to the rhythm of Tomorrowland, one of the most incredible electronic music festivals in the world. You will not have to travel to Belgium thanks to UNITE with Tomorrowland 2018: from Saturday 28 July to Sunday 29, without pause, the music of Tomorrowland will arrive via satellite to the screens of Parc de Can Zam. Attendees will be able to see the three most important performances of the Tomorrowland 2018 program, as well as enjoy the live music by DJs Quintino, Yves V, and Steve Aoki, among others.
