Grec Festival of Barcelona
El Grec de Barcelona is a festival of theater, dance, music, circus and cinema, with a long tradition (this year marks the 44th edition). It is not only the main cultural attraction of the Barcelona summer, but also a reference in the European calendar of festivals. This year's Grec has been reinvented to face an edition that is being held in difficult conditions. Local creation will be the protagonist, although they will not lose sight of international talent. In addition, they have opened the door to new stage formats and new ways of reaching the public, and there will be a single price for all shows. Everything will be carried out following strict security measures that will be constantly audited. This year's opening will be a tribute to health and other workers in essential areas who have fought on the front line in the difficult moments of the pandemic.

La Noche de San Juan (St. John's Night) - Verbenas and Bonfires
We have included the celebration of the Night of San Juan in the "Featured Events" section, because it is one of the most important popular festivals of the year in Barcelona, but due to the current situation, the intensity of the party will be reduced. Let's go over the new conditions and limitations: Saint John's Night cannot be celebrated on the beaches of Barcelona: they will be closed from 8:00 p.m. on June 23 to 10:00 a.m. on June 24. Small bonfires will be allowed (they cannot be more than 1 m2) and private parties organized in closed spaces must have a maximum capacity of 80 people. If the space is open, the capacity can be up to 800 people, but with the participants seated and respecting the safety distance. It is not yet known if the popular festivals (verbenas) organized by neighborhood associations on the street will be allowed. At the celebrations of friends in flats and houses, a maximum of 20 people can gather and the fireworks must be smaller than usual. And finally, what will happen to the Flame of Canigó? The flame will reach the Plaçq de Sant Jaume but this year the fire will not be distributed throughout the neighborhoods of Barcelona.

In this immersive experience you can discover more than 100 works of the mythical artist born, probably, in Yacht (Gloucestershire, Great Britain) and resident in Bristol.

Bachcelona, Festival Bach of Barcelona
The Bach Festival in Barcelona, which reaches its 8th edition this year, is an international festival attended by musicians from all over Europe who perform the music of the German genius in some of the most emblematic spaces of the city, such as the Palau de la Música, the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, La Pedrera or the Palau Güell.
