Dialogues of Sant Jordi is an event organized by Barcelona Libraries that offers, as a prologue to the Sant Jordi Day, a meeting space between authors and readers.
Festival of the Sagrada Familia
The Festa Major de la Sagrada Família, known as the Festa Major del Poblet will take place from April 19 to 28 with a program full of popular culture and activities for all tastes.
Día de Sant Jordi - Saint George's Day
On April 23 the streets of Barcelona are full of people and bustle. A day to promote the sale of books and, hopefully, reading. So do not miss it and check here the areas with the highest concentration of stops and cultural and institutional spaces that join the open day.
This year, the Sant Jordi Musical will last one day instead of two. Through the different spaces and stages of the Antiga Fàbrica Damm, more than 20 groups and singer-songwriters will perform. There will also be a record, vinyl and book market.
Festival INDOMITUS
First film festival that focuses on adventure, photography, nature and conservation. Lectures and films on wilderness travel, photography, mountain biking adventures, nature and conservation stories are featured.
Concerts at the Hivernacle
The Gran Teatre del Liceu programs the first concerts to be held in the Hivernacle of the Ciutadella Park, after its reopening last December. This emblematic space of Barcelona, recently restored, will become the stage for four chamber concerts on April 26, 27 and 28 with members of the Orchestra and Choir of the Liceu.
Cuba Vibra
The prestigious choreographer and creator Lizt Alfonso presents Cuba Vibra, an authentic, energetic and colorful show that takes spectators on a journey through Cuban dances and rhythms from the 1950s to today. Chachachá, mambo, son, bolero, rumba and conga blend harmoniously with flamenco, creating a unique and incomparable experience.
Ameba Park Fest
The electronic music festival AMEBA Parkfest announces its return with a new edition to be held on May 11, 2024. The annual event of local music, urban art, gastronomy and children's workshops, will take place for the first time at the Parc de la Estació del Nord, in the Eixample district, from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
