When the industrialist Xavier Camps had the idea to build the Tower of the Aigües (Water Tower), he could never have imagined that one day, in the twenty-first century, the tower would host an artistic and cultural event. However, if we think that Pere Falqués, the architect in charge of designing and developing the project went beyond the strictly functional in design and equipped the tower of ornamental architectural elements, he was anticipating perhaps its transformation into a cultural space.

Arttower: La Festa will be held on 17 and 18 September in the frame of the Festa Major de Poblenou and will have a craft fair that will be installed around the Torre de les Aigües del Besòs.
